Steve started drawing graphite and charcoal portraits and posters as a teenager. Later, he discovered a passion for abstract art, taking inspiration from nature and the world around him. Living in the south of England, the Sussex countryside and walks along the coast inspire the movement and light he captures in his abstract paintings and seascapes. He now works primarily with acrylics, often mixed with oils, pigment and layers of epoxy resin.
Steve paints mainly on wood panels and canvas and is at his happiest when mixing and creating artworks that take you on a journey of imagination and drama. He lives in Horsham, West Sussex with his wife, two children and two dogs.
